The PGSP-AIGLÉ Program
What is the Degree?
The degree conferred is the Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. This is the same degree that PGSP doctoral students receive at the same point in their training while they are en route to the doctorate.
The program takes 3 years and involves 110 quarter units of credit. There is no thesis requirement. The actual courses will run September to June each year, but there will also be additional non-credit required classes, that will orient students to Aiglé and PGSP and facilitate students' transition into the new learning and living environments. These courses will occur when formal classes are not in session. Typically these sessions will occur before each year's formal classes start.
Can I see patients with this degree?
Yes, the applied clinical component is central to this Program. Practicum placements are available in a number of therapeutic contexts and settings requiring different types of interventions.
Students of all countries with which Argentina has signed agreements allowing clinical work, can also treat patients under clinical supervision.
